Moore Park Baptist Church is committed to following where the Lord Jesus leads us. We believe that He has told us to prepare for the decades ahead by transforming the local church from the traditional activity based and program driven model, to one where relationships are paramount.
To achieve this we are moving steadily towards the place where cell groups are the central and single most important unit in the life of the church after the nuclear family. Everyone attending Moore Park is in a cell group. Not everyone can attend a cell group, and those who do not, are cared for by trained and supervised “Lay Pastors” connected to a cell.
Moore Park has experienced healthy growth, and to accommodate the growing church in our 125-seater building, we have opted to create three semi-autonomous congregations. Each congregation has its own pastor and two elders. The deacons are the ministry leaders and serve the church across all three congregations.
