Isaiah 9:6

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Matthew 1:21

She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.

At the start of this new year let us continue to look towards our God; our only hope, Saviour, Redeemer and purpose in this life.

For anyone wanting to know more about Jesus and the gift He offers, please contact one of the pastors via the details on the left of the page.

We wish you God’s peace and blessings for 2012

Welcome to everyone who is joining us to worship the Lord. You are especially welcome if you are a visitor. Do you feel as if you need personal spiritual renewal? After all that has happened these last few months, I certainly need to be renewed. I have spoken with many of our people and they all are feeling weary and that has impacted their sense of power, love and joy in the Lord. Time for a renewal of my spiritual passion.

On 24 July we begin a church wide series titled ‘50 Days of Spiritual Renewal’. The Elders have put together a 50 day devotional guide for personal use between 24 July and 4 September. These devotional primers are part of a seven week series that will include Sunday Sermons and weekly Cell Group Bible studies around the following themes:

  • Week 1: The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit
  • Week 2: Spirit Filled for Witness
  • Week 3: Spirit Filled for Gifts
  • Week 4: Spirit Filled for Ministry
  • Week 5: Spirit Filled for Holiness
  • Week 6: Spirit Filled for Assurance
  • Week 7: Spirit Filled for Impact

Please join the Elders in praying that these seven weeks will lead to a Holy Spirit renewal that we all need and long for.

Blessings,
Ed Marshall
