Our Elders
Jim Singer
Elder
Jim has been attending Moore Park Baptist Church for most of the past 60 years. He became an elder in 2019 and currently also chairs the Missions Committee. Jim is enthusiastic about ensuring young people are presented with the gospel and tends to be involved in a range of ministries that support this passion.
As a local to the Indooroopilly area, Jim has spent considerable time as a member of Moore Park Baptist Church and has served in a number of ministries over that time. He has served in a number of Church leadership roles as well as being involved in Boys’ Brigade, Sunday School and Youth Group.
Jim and his wife, Janet, are now both retired and enjoy spending time with their family, traveling and bush walking through local trails.
Jacqui Wootton
Elder
Jacqui and her family have been part of the Moore Park community since 2019, and she joined the team of Elders at the end of 2025. Jacqui is passionate about supporting people to find connection and belonging in the church community, and to grow together in serving God.
Jacqui currently serves on our worship team, regularly leading or singing during a Sunday morning service. Jacqui and her husband, Rob, also coordinate one of our life groups. Rob and Jacqui are parents to two teenage daughters.
Rachel Webb
Elder
Rachel and her husband Ben have been part of the Moore Park family since 2022. She works as a nurse and fills her cup through conversations with friends, music, walking or going exploring with Ben.
Rachel joined the Eldership in 2024 and is currently involved in the Worship and Oasis teams. She is passionate about people finding freedom in grace, and deeply knowing God and His love for them.
Jeff Callow
Elder
Jeff has been part of the Moore Park community for over 25 years, although much of that time was spent serving abroad. Alongside his wife, Belinda, Jeff dedicated 20 years to mission work in Thailand as one of the missionaries sent out by the church. Now back in Australia for a season to support their adult sons as they settle into life here, Jeff and Belinda are embracing the opportunity to be more actively involved in church life than ever before.
With a love for the outdoors, Jeff enjoys cycling, hiking, rock climbing, camping, and kayaking—often using these activities as a way to connect with others and share the good news of Jesus. He has a passion for teaching and helping new and growing Christians understand the Bible. A fan of Thai culture, Jeff enjoys Thai food, music, and comedy, but admits Australian coffee wins his heart over Thai brews! Jeff and Belinda are parents of four sons, ranging in age from 13 to 26.
