Boys' Brigade

The Boys’ Brigade opens opportunities to the church to reach out into the community to provide a safe environment for boys to have fun and learn. The program on Friday nights provides a supportive Christian community for boys and young men to assist in their Christian growth, balanced personal development, and leadership training. All activities are age specific and give the boys a chance to be challenged in these aspects and grow as future leaders of their group, school and community. Boys’ Brigade has been a part of the life of our church for the last sixty years and has seen many young men pass through its ranks.

Activities go beyond Friday nights

In addition to Friday nights there are a number of other activities that are enjoyed throughout the year.

Girls' Brigade

Moore Park Girls’ Brigade was the 56^th Company to be formed in Brisbane. The aim of Girls’ Brigade is to help girls become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, and through reverence, self control and a sense of responsibility to find true enrichment of life. We have girls from ages 5-17.

Our programme is very varied, covering educational, physical, social and spiritual aspects. We also have occasional weekend events, such as sleepovers, camps and activities with other Companies in our region.

We have a range of activites available

In recent years we have held a combined regional camp, as this helps the smaller companies with not many leaders and encourages girls to make friends with other girls outside their own group. We are also able to take part in Anzac Day parades.
